Tuesday, September 6th / 7:00pm - 7:50pm (central)
On-Campus Programming: There are many untapped campus resources available to our chapters wishing to program on campus. Often times our chapters waste their own supplies and money purchasing items for on-campus events that could have been provided by the University at no cost. At this workshop, advisors will learn about the various funding sources and resources available to fraternities and sororities planning on-campus events.
Workshop Hosts: Dain Gotto (Assistant Director of Student Activities), Jesse Koch
Tuesday, November 8th / 7:00pm - 7:50pm (central)
Alcohol Use at Bradley; Myths, Facts and Education: There is no denying that alcohol is a significant influence on the culture of Bradley University. But what are the real numbers? How many of our students are drinking? How much high-risk behavior involving alcohol is taking place? What does the latest research say, and what is Bradley doing to help our students? At this workshop, advisors will learn the truth about alcohol use at Bradley, understand current trends and research related to alcohol use amongst college-aged students, become aware of Bradley’s efforts to curb high risk behavior, and learn about the multitude of support services available to chapter members.
Workshop Hosts: Lyndsey Hawkins (Coord of Alcohol Education and Awareness Programming), Jesse Koch
Tuesday, March 6th / 7:00pm - 7:50pm (central) - TENTATIVE
Student Mental Health: Mental health is a subject which our chapter members tend to shy away from discussing. However, more and more students are arriving at colleges and universities with diagnosed mental health disorders; many more remain untreated. At this workshop, advisors will learn about the various mental health issues facing college-aged students, along with the support mechanisms available through Bradley University and local community agencies.

Recruiting and Engaging Alumni: Strong alumni support is extremely beneficial to any undergraduate chapters. Yet, chapters struggle to connect with alumni, engage them in the chapter and/or alumni organization. At this workshop, advisors will learn how to reconnect with alumni, offer them opportunities and benefits to engage in the organization, and solicit manpower and financial donations.
